The river Neath, rises between Fan Fraith and Fan Nedd in the Brecon Beacons.
In the picturesque waterfall area above Pont-Neddfechan, the river flows south, where it is joined by the tributaries of the Pyddin Mellte and Sychryd. The river continues southwest passing Glynneath and Cwmgwrach.
The river is stocked every month with brown trout from late April to mid October. There are good runs of sea trout or sewin and salmon. The best method for the sea trout is fly by night as we have some of the best fishing pools around.
All new members welcome. We hold a children's competition every year for the under 12's and 12-16 year olds. Every child that enters will receive a medal, and the winners will receive rods and many other prizes. Free entry providing you hold a G.D.A.A. license.
